It has been confirmed by the sources that self ban on Indian Bollywood movies has been removed from Film Exhibitors Association in Pakistan. Pakistan has been the third largest screening market for bollywood movies. Cinema owners have invested lot of money on their multiplexes and major business depends on Indian Cinema - confirmed by the chairman Zoraiz Lashari. This ban was imposed due to tensions between two countries following Uri Terror attack.

The reason behind ending up self imposed ban is considered to be a big releases like upcoming movies RAEES and DANGAL according to cinema owners. Lashari said exhibitors and theater owners had taken self imposed ban against a ban on Pakistani Actors from IMPPA - Indian Motion Pictures Producers' Association.

Source claims it clearly that old and new releases of Pakistani movies and even Hollywood movie releases were not capable of filling up the Halls and hence promoters and exhibitors had to bare a big loss on every day basis. Moreover, Mahir Khan is looking dazzling in her looks with a theatrical trailer of RAEES.

In response, RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) has created such a pressure that Indian movie producers and directors still refusing to work with Pakistani artists.
