Pigeons Are Now Used For Drug Smuggling.

One of the oldest mean of communication is the use of pigeons as even Bollywood movies have produced songs in reference to this. Pigeon were used as messenger before the invention of modern source of communication. However, they are not used for such purposes again as it has discovered of recent that pigeon are now being used to smuggle drugs.

According to a Twitter post by Al Arabiya, Kuwait customs has seized 178 narcotic pills from a backpack that was wrapped around a local pigeon, which is believed to be coming from Iraq. In his tweet, Al Arabiya said "Shocking images: drug traffickers now use pigeon to smuggle drugs into #Kuwait on a pigeon backpack? That’s creative to be honest."

The bird was caught above a building near the customs’ department near Iraq’s border in Abdali province. Why would a pigeon packed with drugs go near the law enforcement agency building? Well, it may be a coincidence, or not. Meanwhile twitter user have responded to the news in an interesting way.

 

 

However the situation may be using birds to smuggle drugs is not right in any way. The person behind this should be brought to book.
